Firefighter cook off
The Jim Walsh Firefighter Cook-Off is a celebration of the incredible cooks who keep our firefighters fueled during their shifts. This exciting competition highlights the culinary talents of area firefighters, bringing good food and great fun to the festival.
Each contestant will prepare a meal of their choosing using the vegetable corn and corn products in three different ways specified under rule 1 below and then serve it to the four judges. Contestants must be able to verify the corn products used in their dish.
This event is all about good faith, friendly competition, and honoring the dedication of our local firefighters—both in the kitchen and on the job. Join us in recognizing their hard work and enjoying some amazing food. Registration for the 2027 Cook Off Coming Soon!
